Anti-Dengue Operations: EPA seals three premises

RAWALPINDI: The Punjab Environment Protection Agency (EPA), under its ongoing anti-dengue drive, on Saturday inspected 46 sites and sealed three premises.

EPA District Officer Mian Mohammad Nawaz said inspection teams also removed stagnant water from three breeding sites.

Action in accordance with the law is being taken against the violators of government orders to save the public from the spread of dengue, he said.

Teams visited 46 points, including 28 tyre shops, 14 junkyards/godowns, one nursery and three under-construction sites.

The official said vulnerable points are being checked regularly and special inspection is conducted to check dengue mosquito larvae.
