LAHORE: Justice Mamoonur Rasheed of Lahore High Court on Tuesday directed the Ferozewala Tehsil municipal officer to shift sacrificial animals to livestock markets.  Muhammad Akbar, a resident of Shahdara Town, had filed a petition regarding the sale of animals at places in the area. He said this had disturbed the lives of its residents and had disrupted business activity. Akbar said animals could only be sold at designated markets. An official of the local municipal committee informed the court that it would make the necessary arrangements and requested the court to allow it with two more days. Justice Rasheed adjourned the hearing till October 2 directing the official to make the arrangements and shift the animals to a designated area.
