Alleged negligence: Doctors protest registration of FIR

The doctors also held protest demonstration and termed the police case as politically influenced.

HYDERABAD: The doctors at the Peoples Medical College Hospital in Nawabshah boycotted work on Monday to protest the registration of police cases against two female doctors. Dr Sadaf Chandio and Dr Madeeha have been nominated in an FIR for their alleged negligence that caused the death of a patient, Zarina Malik, in the gynaecology ward a few days ago. The case was lodged on the complaint of Malik’s husband, Muhammad Saeed Malik. The doctors also held protest demonstration and termed the police case as politically influenced. They announced that the protest will continue unless the case is not withdrawn.
