Record management: Societies to computerise records

LAHORE: Private housing societies in the province were directed by the National Accountability Bureau on Thursday to computerise their records within six months and set up one-window services.  The directions were issued at a meeting of NAB directors at Thokar Niaz Beg. Officials of the local government, housing, Sui gas, electricity companies and the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) attended the meeting. NAB authorities directed housing societies to display the number and status of mortgage plots at their website as well as on their status board within a month.
