Sindh Assembly passes resolution against division of province
It was presented by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) MPA Suhail Anwar.
The issue made headlines after Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leaders demanded to make more administrative units in the country. The opposition parties, nationalists, writers and activists in Sindh have joined hands to condemn the MQM’s demand, saying they will not support any unconstitutional demands that are a direct threat to the integrity of Pakistan.
MQM lawmakers were not present at the provincial assembly's session today as the party decided to boycott it in protest against the arrest of MQM workers. MPAs belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) were also not present in the assembly at the time the resolution was passed.
Provincial members of PML-F and PML-N were not inside the assembly as they had walked out of the building, protesting against the issue of allocation of seats in the newly-built assembly.

We want a separate unit .Period.
Dear Waderas of Sindh assembly ,we are not asking to divide Sindh . All we are demanding is many separate administrative units for different areas which will serve the people better with locals deciding and choosing their own affairs.
But Alas ! you just dont try to understand .
If this minimal legal and popular demand is not met we will definitely demand A SEPARATE PROVINCE ultimately . the ball is in your court now .
We are really sick of being governed by a bunch of waderas who are here in Karachi just to loot and plunder us . Pls try to understand this simple logic .Live and let live.
These politicians will never let people to be one nation. They create fear among public that division of provinces will be threat to integrity of Pakistan. Pakistan will be more prosperous with more provinces and Local government system.
When hearts are divided then why not the province?
All those who oppose the formation of new provinces are those who support a status quo that helps their cause of looting and plundering a nation that is too naive to understand how they are being robbed in the name of religion and ethnicity. Wake up people. Demand of more provinces will only increase henceforth. All districts should be announced as separate provinces immediately.
