PK-67: Election tribunal disqualifies PTI lawmaker over fake degree
Gandapur had won the election from PK-67 and his opponent Fataullah Mian Khel challenged the authenticity of his degree.
The election tribunal investigated the allegations and declared Gandapur ineligible to be a lawmaker.
Gandapur secured 28,073 votes, while Khel secured 14,983 votes.
PK-67 covers the area of Kulachi in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and is the most backward tehsil of DI Khan district.

PTI didn't give this guy the ticket to contest elections...
@Umar: Because when the election happened the law of the land said you needed a degree. Thanks to Mush. So non degree holders were lawbreakers at the time. Anyway, I expected better from holier than thou PTI.Cant control their own party how will they manage the country? (10% of MNA's refused to resign despite party insistence. THe President of the party Javed Hashmi exposed script writers, Shirin Mazari keeps lying (no we did not meet in london), etc.)

@Fahad: It is no difficult to delete your degree records from HEC, the question is how on earth opponent realized that the winning candidate have a fake degree. If only Sathis like you can think..
I really don't understand this so someone please educate me. My understanding is that you no longer need to be a degree holder to qualify for contesting the election. Why would this be an issue?
I am not defending the candidate or pti wrong is wrong but I just don't understand.

Secondly before you raise eye brows you must talk in % meaning by check how many have been disqualified from PML (N), PPP, MQM, JUI and PTI which itself will prove who is who? Dear! He won election as an independent candidate. Plz check ELection Commission PAKISTAN website. He supported PTI in CM voting. He was not a PTI candidate. Regards

basically parties should produce politicians rather importing them from other parties it evident in present scenario all parties have imported key elements from out side.which cause demotivation among the original party workers well this is pakistan and you cannot just avoid this .
Why does PTI keep shooting itself in the foot time and again with such expose's? "No we did not meet TuQ in London"....Oops Yes we did. "Jagirdaari, Fuedalism, Robber barons and Pir politics are the problem" Shah Mehmood Quershi, Swati, Tareen, Dasti, Mr. Gandapur etc. are ok though. I voted for you PTI. Now I feel happier you did not win the seat with my vote because of the rigging since you show yourselves to be so inept.
Actually these cases from D I Khan and other areas are not of Fake Degrees, most of candidate disqualified posses Certificates / Degrees from Madrassas which were then accepted but later on were rejected by Election Commission. Even those who are from JUI(F) are disqualified for same reason
Where are the PTI wallahs now?
PTI should have the courage to accept their mistake and promise to thoroughly check a candidate before giving him the ticket in next elections. If they can't do it in pti, they can't do it for Pakistan.
He is the brother of Israr ullah Gandapur (Martyred in suicide attack last year).
@Sodomite: Fake degree holders should be disqualified but I am sure PTI will win the seat back in by-elections. So another negative element cleansed out of the party which can only be a good thing for PTI. Regarding lack of experienced leadership, wasn't it the biggest objection on IK to surround himself with tried and tested politicians? Your argument puts him in a quandary whether to rely on experience or promote new faces? True that you can't keep everyone happy all the time.
Will the hardcore PTI loyalists please shed some light on this?! Is this how they intend making Naya Pakistan for us? In that case, go home guys and get authentic degrees four your legislators.

If this is true and not politics as usual, then IK needs some serious introspection in his own party. After Hashmi, who should never have been accepted in PTI, IK should not allow the public to question his maturity in selecting the right people or his capability to govern the country. He has only Shah Mahmood Qurashi who has any public experience and being a Kaaptan is no credentials to govern a country.
Let's start a march against HEC now. I'm sure PMLN is behind this :)
