Earlier, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah had given assurance to the provincial industries ministry that the government would provide a piece of land free of charge for an industrial zone in Larkana.
In a press statement on Friday, Siddiqui said the Sindh government has also assured that it would provide funds for development work in the Larkana industrial zone.
He said the government was aware of the problems faced by industrialists because of energy shortage and rising power tariffs, adding the government would try to address their woes.
