Private frustration: Man commits suicide

BAHAWALPUR: A man committed suicide by swallowing poison on Sunday. A police spokesman said the 25-year-old man was a resident of Gulshan Iqbal. He said he often quarrelled with his family over domestic issues. The spokesman said his family told them that the man had been unemployed for six months and had been very depressed. They said he picked fights on small excuses and would lock himself in his room for hours. On Sunday, he argued with his mother on some petty matter, locked himself in his room and swallowed poisonous pills. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.
