BAHAWALPUR: Police have failed to arrest six men accused of raping a disabled woman on September 13. Now, her landlord has asked the woman and her husband to leave.

Fareeha*, a resident of Iqbalnagar in Rahim Yar Khan, told reporters on Saturday that she had married Javed nine months ago. “A week ago, some of Javed’s friends invited us to dinner. They drugged us. Then six of them raped me. We registered a complaint with police. The medical examination has shown that I was raped. However, police have not arrested any of the rapists,” Fareeha said.

She said that the rapists had threatened to kill her if she did not take back the complaint and leave the area. “Our landlord has asked us to immediately vacate the house. I will commit suicide if the government does not provide me with justice,” she said.
