MUZAFFARABAD:
Former prime minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood said that the people of Kashmir living across the globe will organise a march in London on October 27 to mark the day when Indian forces advanced to occupy the territory in 1947. PPP leader Sultan Mehmood addressing a press conference said that they have invited the All Parties Hurriyat Conference leaders of Srinagar to participate in the march. “The leaders of the million-people march will present the memorandum to the prime minister of the United Kingdom at 10 Downing,” Sultan said, adding basically the UK was responsible for the Kashmir problem. Mehmood said India was seeking regional dominance. “Pakistan should expand its nuclear programme to promote balance of power in South Asia,” he said. He urged India to open the Line of Control for the aid and relief of the flood victims of Indian Kashmir.
