Ghastly crime: Three booked for rape

RAWALPINDI: The Saddar police have booked three persons for allegedly gang-raping a girl they had kidnapped. Nafeesa* lodged a case with the police that while she was returning home from a tuition centre when Bashir,* Qaiser* and Faisal* turned up on two motorcycles and kidnapped her at gunpoint. She said they took her to a house and raped her. Later, they dropped her near her house and threatened her with dire consequences if she told anyone what happened. She said she was able to muster up the courage to approach the police and lodge the case. The police registered a case against the suspects and further investigation is under way.
