The idea to start my own salon really made the difference!

It gets very tough at times but having a supporting family really helps me through a lot

It was just by chance that I stepped into modeling and continued it alongside my dentistry.

Who is your favourite designer and why?
I have many favourites since everyone has something different to offer, especially Nomi Ansari, HSY, Ayesha Hashwani of AFH and Deepak Perwani, etc.

How has the Pakistani fashion industry changed over the past years?
It’s gone through a huge change in the last five to six years with the advent of fashion weeks. Now fashion has become more of a serious business.
How does it feel to be one of the leading names of the fashion industry?
It’s always a great feeling to be successful.

How did Nadia Hussain Salon and Clinic come about?
Modeling cannot continue for a lifetime so I decided to step into this business before I quit modeling.

What gave way to Nadia Hussain lawn collection by Shariq Textiles?
I had started doing lawn with another partner before Shariq Textiles but when I quit that, I paired up with Shariq and continued.

Can women have it all?
Yes! They most certainly can if they have the right attitude about it. Plus, as I said earlier, having a supporting family really helps.

Any advice for aspiring female models?
There’s no shortcut to success.
