Undercover: Shah Mehmood dubs Hashmi PML-N agent
In a desperate move, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi called Javed Hashmi an undercover agent of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.
The PTI leader was addressing a gathering of people on his visit to Multan on Wednesday, the first by any prominent PTI leader to the flood-hit areas in south Punjab.
“Hashmi has achieved a complete understanding with PML-N and will join the ruling party after contesting as an independent candidate in the upcoming by-polls,” Qureshi asserted.
He said PTI has advised its workers to donate one thousand rupees each for the flood victims. “We expect to collect Rs1 billion for our brothers and sisters who have suffered devastations due to failed policies of the government.”
He said that if PTI has not sent any show cause notice to Hashmi, then why he is contesting as an independent candidate. “PML-N will either file no candidate against Hashmi or the weakest one and the same strategy will be adopted by Pakistan People Party,” he added The PTI leader lashed out at government policies, saying “they are not for a healthy economy in the country but for a healthy dynasty.”
Commenting on the expulsion of PML-N lawmaker and PPP Senator from the airplane by passengers, Qureshi said that “It proves that change has arrived and people have stood up against status quo in the country”.
Talking about the recently filed cases against him, he said there were no cases against him during his whole political career but in last one month the government has lodged unlimited FIRs for no reason.
“I am very much hopeful that high court will release all our workers tomorrow because they are innocent and there is no reason to arrest them,” he said. PTI has created an environment of hard work and real time politics without corruption; this will change the future of our people and the country,” Qureshi added.
He went on to say that Khyber-Pakhtunkhuwa government has donated Rs100 million for the flood victims and it was the first provincial government to announce aid for the flood victims in Punjab.

I think Hashmi is a double agent who can ditch any body during the battle.
Javed Hashmi may have lost credibility among imran centered PTI wallas but he emerged as a hero among whole nation. His truthfulness, his bravery and unprecedented politics which only cares for country not revolves around the personalities has been unhearable in our country. Bravo Javed Hashmi!!!!
If one can find my comments from the days when JH was inducted with such fanfare, I said he is a plant. And I said, and say, the same thing about Shah Mahmood Qureshi - he is not a plant but a spent cartridge. If IK really wanted the change he should have abstained from the usual suspects. In so doing he lost some of his pioneering compatriots. IK should abstain from foul language, all he has done is yelled like a small kid throwing a tantrum. A seasoned politician always conducts him/herself with calm, dignity and poise - completely lacking here, maybe because of the company he keeps Sheikh Rasheed, Shah M Qureshi, Tahirul Qadri, Shireen Mazari et all.
Qureshi himself is an establishment agent. He needs to teach himself manners regarding public discourse.
Hashmi did not say anything that Imran Khan himself has not said in public. There is no doubt that Imran Khan along with Sheikh Rasheed believed that army will intervene. When that did not happen, IK starting throwing a fit.

Imran Khan is playing Test match (Pak Democracy) with T20 approach, result, he is loosing all important wickets in quick succession... IK when came here in Delhi was very proud of JH and talked confidenly among the audience , his party members shd not JH in undignified way, JH has a good history.... I hope IK plays it like test match, and he shd trust Mr. Siraj who seems to be quite honest negotiater..... Ik (loves and respects his vision )

Musharraf, the destroyer of democracy, the usurper of power, the brutal military dictator/demagogue/demigod, who twice subverted the State and the Constitution of Pakistan. Shame on you. Hashmi is a hero as he resisted Musharraf and went to jail but did not apologize to Musharraf. A man of principles, like no other politician. Great man, this Hashmi.

Hashmi has a conscience. The litmus test came during Musharraf's brutal dictatorship. Hashmi did NOT surrender to Musharraf, did not apologize but accepted to go to prison. No other political leader in Pakistan has those guts or truthfulness.
Till Javed Hashmi didnt come out and told the truth about IK and PTIs malafide intentions, he was a bahadur aadmi. The day he comes out, he is labelled as a PMLN agent, retarded and all sorts of things. This display of intolerence is the reason why I will not vote PTI again. right now PTI is the only party which is fighting against status quo. It is truly uniting people under the ideology of "khudi" . Unfortunately hashmi sab joined pti not bcoz of party's main ideology but due to the lack of importance and ignorance he was facing in the kings party over a long period of time. He has no need of any party but all the parties needed him. He has a great vote Bank in Punjab and he is more popular than any PTI leader. PTIs votes are scattered in one one or two two but he has a one lot. During his tenure, PML-N his behaviour was the same but they respected his views. But here he got no respect. Javed Hashmi has given his whole-life for politics, he was in prison when Mr. Sharif was in Saudi Arab. I believe age factor is main cause behind his present decision. He lost his credibility just because of his age, we should not criticize him.

There is a dignified way of doing thins and there are undignified ways. Sadly Hashmi opted for the latter one.
He should have gone public earlier before all this started Else should have waited for it to get to its logical conclusion. Not only leaving but also stabbing your commander during a heavy fought battle tells a lot about that soldier.
Change has come, says the biggest lota, pir and feudal lord. It is very simple if Hashmi is not popular from SMQ's area then he would lose the elections. If SMQ were a real leader of man he would himself contest against Hashmi or his crony but he would not dare. Undoubtedly Javed Hashmi has lost his credibility and much of the respect due to his pendulum type politics with an attitude of a stubborn lady who runs away to the parent's house every other day in angry mood.
