Curbing crime: IED found, suspect arrested

A police spokesman said a man, believed to be its manufacturer, was also arrested.

DERA GHAZI KHAN: An improvised explosive devise (IED) was seized by the Central Investigating Agency and Shah Saddardin police on Wednesday.

A police spokesman said a man, believed to be its manufacturer, was also arrested.

He said Shah Saddardin police and the CIA police raided a house on a tip-off near Kaala.

He said Inamullah was arrested and two men managed to escape. He said Inamullah told them that the devise was going to be used to blow up a railway track.

The spokesman said police had registered a case and were conducting raids to apprehend the other men.
