QUETTA: Journalists took out a procession in Quetta on Monday to protest against the inability of law enforcing agencies to trace the culprits involved in targeted killings of journalists. Despite the lapse of 18 days, the law enforcers have failed to find any clue regarding the targeted killing of senior journalist Irshad Mastoi, trainee reporter Abdul Rasul and an accountant Mohammed Younus. The demonstration organised by Balochistan Union of Journalists (BUJ) saw protesters march in a queue from main arteries of Quetta and staged a demonstration near CM secretariat and Governor House. “Journalists will intensify their protest with each passing day. Protests will continue until justice is done,” said Afzal Butt, president of PFUJ while addressing the protesters. Lawyers and leaders of BNP also took part in the procession.

You may disagree with IK and TUQ methods but you can't disagree with what they stand for. The same Law and Order for EVERY SINGLE PAKISTANI irrespective of whether you can buy off the criminals, the Judiciary, the Police.

It is time the journalists started asking their conscious if the STATUS QUO is beneficial to them or do they need to turn the MIGHT of the PEN and bring about the Naya Pakistan.

The decision is yours Mr Journalist.
