KARACHI:

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Director Domestic Cricket Intikhab Alam visited the National Stadium Karachi (NSK) on Thursday to assess the condition of the ground ahead of the Haier National T20 Tournament.

The first event of the current calendar year has been shifted to Karachi from Multan due to torrential rains and flooding, and Intikhab believes that the ground is in perfect shape to host the event.

“The T20 tournament is our premier event, which is why I came here to check the preparations and condition of the NSK,” said Intikhab.

The PCB was initially preparing to go ahead with a one-day pentangular tournament, but later opted to arrange the T20 competition instead.
