LAHORE: Husband of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Shamim Akhtar was found dead in their house in Lahore, Express News reported on Monday.
In her statement to the police, the MPA said both her husband Kabir Ahmed and herself had been receiving death threats.
Akhtar had attended a wedding last night and upon her return home, she found her 70-year-old husband dead. Police have removed the body from the property and sent it for post mortem at Mayo hospital.
The police said that no torture marks were found on the body so far, and further information will be disclosed following the post mortem.
At present, their neighbour has been nominated in the FIR.

Yes Mr. Chaudhry, PTI puts the blame where the blame should go.
1.) PTI blames the looters who are involved in land grabbing, commissions, loan defaulting, and outright theft of development funds. Does Hudabiya Paper Mills jog your memory? Does Mehrangate mean anything to you?
2.) PTI blames the corrupt powers who don't pay taxes, Nawaz Sharif paid 40,000 rupees in tax, would you like to see the tax return?
3.) PTI blames the corrupt practices of using government connections to pass laws that benefit the rich and powerful, from Nawaz Sharif's tax on shipbreaking which used to employ 20,000 people and Pakistan was the biggest shipbreaker in the world to the MNAs who put high tariffs on imported sugar to protect their mills,
4.) PTI points out the lies and dishonesty in which the rulers conduct themselves, remember "If I don't fix the electricity outage in 1 year my name is not Shabazz Sharif", or do you remember " I will build a bullet train from Karachi to Peshawer"
I migrated to the West to escape the thinking of people like you, who vote not based on logic,facts and character, but on caste,ethnicity and language, and becuase you always voted for PML-N, Allah does not change the condition of a people, unless they themselves change, until Punjab wakes up and stops voting for PML or PPP we are stuck with these looters,cheaters and low people.

This a common occurrence here in Karachi with these type of legislators
Lets see how long it takes for someone to blame the PTI for this ....
Police should involve the MPA sahiba first and this will solve the issue!
