Penalised: Man sent to jail for possession of drugs

The court after hearing arguments of both parties sent the girl to Darul Aman and sought a report in this regard.

LAHORE: An anti-narcotics court on Friday awarded 10 years’ imprisonment to a man for possessing more than seven kg of hashish. The judge also imposed a fine of Rs50,000 on Muhammad Asif. He will have to undergo another eight months’ imprisonment if he does not pay the fine. The Anti-Narcotics Force had arrested Asif.
