12-year-old murdered by three men in Bahadarpur

A man killed his wife late on Wednesday. Two bodies were found in Rahim Yar Khan and its adjoining areas as well.


Irfan, a resident of Chak 134-P, was married to Saira* of Chak 111-P three months ago. After he went abroad for work, his family developed differences with Saira’s family. Irfan returned fifteen days ago.

On Wednesday, the couple had an argument and he strangled Saira.

Irfan then called his in-laws and told them she had died from heart failure. He also contacted police and told them that she had committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan.

However, Saira’s family registered a complaint with police that Irfan had murdered their daughter with the help of his father.

Police have arrested Irfan and his father and sent the body for a postmortem examination.

Separately, the body of a 12-year-old boy was found on the National Highway near Bahadurpur. Locals spotted the body and informed police about it.

Mumtaz Ahmad, the father of the deceased, said that his son had been kidnapped by three men: Rehman, Imran and Yousaf.

In another incident, Ramazan, a resident of Khanqah Sharif, was shot dead after being kidnapped by unidentified men. A police spokesman the criminals later threw his body in front of his father-in-law’s house. Police took the body to hospital for an autopsy and registered a case.
