LAHORE:
An additional district and sessions judge on Wednesday acquitted two murder suspects after the complainant and the witnesses said they did not recognise them. Yusuf Khan and Hussain Bhatti had been accused of murdering Muhammad Daud on August 13, 2013, in front of a clinic in Shadbagh. Faisal, the son of the victim, had gotten a FIR registered against them. Faisal and the witnesses failed to recognise them on Wednesday. They said the murder had taken place under the cover of darkness and they were unable to identify the assailants. They said they had no objection if the men were acquitted.
