Mysterious attack : Stabbed trader dies in hospital

The relatives of the slain trader said they had no enmity with anyone.

MUZAFFARABAD:
A trader who was stabbed on Saturday died at the Kotli hospital on Sunday, some 230 kilometres from the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. According to the police, a 30-year-old trader of Kotli Bazaar, Zahid Iqbal, was thrashed and stabbed on Saturday evening by unidentified attackers while he was on his way home. The local traders shifted their injured colleague to the District Headquarters Hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injures on Sunday evening. Following the postmortem, the body was handed over to the deceased’s relatives. The police registered an FIR against the unidentified people and started investigation in the case. The relatives of the slain trader said they had no enmity with anyone.
