Aptech Computer Education held its sixth Aptech Vision event to reduce the gap between its students and the professional markets.
“Our concept is quite simple,” said the country academic head Rao Yaseen, while he was speaking at the event at Marriott hotel on Saturday. “We equip our students to be professional right after they start the three-year diploma with us.”
The students of the institute featured 211 projects in front of 500 professionals from various business circles. Newport University vice-president Huma Bukhari announced that her university will provide 20 per cent scholarship to the students who come out of Aptech for a top-up programme after their three-year study.
The students presented unique projects, such as a mobile application that could provide real-time information on the congestion of roads and average speed on different roads in the city. The HP Pakistan was the exclusive partner at the event and its representatives were present on the occasion. Its exclusive media partner was the Express Media Group.
