Fear and panic: Cracker bomb explodes outside hospital

KARACHI: Tension prevailed in Lyari after unidentified persons hurled a cracker bomb outside Lyari General Hospital on Tuesday. According to police sources, at least two armed motorcyclists hurled a cracker bomb outside the hospital, creating panic and fear in the locality. No loss of life or property was, however, reported in the incident. Sources said that alleged gang members associated with the Lyari gang war were responsible for the attack. On the other hand, Chakiwara SHO Naseer Magsi was not aware of the incident and denied that any explosion had occurred in the area.
