Work benefits: ‘Finalise regularisation by September’

DCO said on Sunday work on regularisation of contractual employees should be finalised by September.

LAHORE: District Coordination Officer Captain (r) Usman Ahmad said on Sunday work on regularisation of contractual employees should be finalised by September. District Officer Human Resources Management Ghiasud Din said hundreds of work-charge and contractual employees were working for town municipal administrations and the city district government. He said previously, the city government had no regularisation policy for them. He said according to the Regularisation Policy 2014, over 2,000 work charge workers and over 700 contractual employees would be finalised. He said criteria for their regularisation had been sent to executive district officers and town municipal officers to ascertain how of them met the criteria.
