A court issued a notice on Saturday to Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan directing him to reply to a defamation suit filed against him by former caretaker chief minister Najam Sethi.
At a previous hearing, Additional District and Sessions Judge Yasir Nadeem Razzaq had ordered Khan to submit his reply by August 23 on the suit seeking Rs1 billion in damages for starting a smear campaign against Sethi.
Khan neither submitted his reply nor sent anyone to represent him in the court.
The judge was on leave on Saturday and the notice was re-issued.
Sethi has filed the suit through Advocate Usman G Rashid. He says that Khan had launched a character assassination campaign against him, claiming that Sethi was responsible for electoral irregularities in 35 constituencies. He said Khan had suggested that he had been nominated caretaker chief minister so he could rig the elections in favour of the PML-N.

U-Turn is coming soon your way!!!!
Sometime may be its not easy to get the proofs against someone where the whole system is corrupt and saving eachother. Still Khan needs to come up with some proof or reasons of calling him so.
Imran is only a talk shop. He is defaming anyone and everyone to fulfill his greed of becoming PM. He has neither shown proofs of anything against Najam Sethi nor he is ready to face the court. IK kind of politics has damaged Pakistan so far and will continue if we don't stop it now.
