Fire Extinguishers: Installation ordered in 400 buildings

Civil Defense District Officer Mazhar Hussain also warned that crackdown would be made against the violators.

RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Civil Defense Department on Saturday issued notices to 400 multi-storey buildings, plazas, gas stations, patrol pumps, government offices, cardboard, plastic and wood factories, petroleum agencies and gas cylinders stores to ensure installation of modern fire extinguishers within one month. Civil Defense District Officer Mazhar Hussain also warned that crackdown would be made against the violators. He also directed his staff to registered cases against owners and seal their business if they do not comply with the notices.
