The Hundred-Foot Journey:

Set to hit the cinemas this weekend, the American comedy-drama film has been produced by Steven Spielberg, Oprah Winfrey and Juliet Blake. Based on the eponymous novel, the film features Helen Mirren and Bollywood veteran actor Om Puri in prominent roles. The film’s plot revolves around an Indian family (the Kadams) that runs a restaurant in Mumbai, which gets destroyed by a mob. The family is then forced to seek asylum in Europe where they open up a new restaurant. But there, the Kadams clash with Madame Mallory, owner of a popular French eatery. The drama that follows their face off is expected to be worth a watch.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:

With a cast including Megan Fox, Will Arnett and William Fichtner, the Ninja Turtles reboot is running in theatres across the country. With evil taking over New York, a group of mutated warriors face off against the evil kingpin in the city. Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello weave their magic on the big screen as they fight crime with their turtle power.

Singham Returns:

Produced by Rohit Shetty, the film is a sequel to the box-office hit Singham (2011).  Ajay Devgn reprises his role in the film and this time, stars opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan. The movie is set in Mumbai, where the fearless and honest cop Bajirao Singham (Ajay) goes up against corrupt politicians with the aid of the his police department. The film, which has already crossed the INR100-crore mark, is action-packed with a high entertainment quotient.
