The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Lawyers’ Forum held a protest rally on Tuesday to condemn Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chief Imran Khan’s call for civil disobedience and entering the Red Zone forcibly. Dozens of lawyers attended the rally held at GPO Chowk. The participants carried placards and banners and chanted slogans against what they termed was an “undemocratic call to incite anarchy”. Lawyers said the call for civil disobedience was unconstitutional and would lead to unrest. They said that it was an attempt to derail democracy and the lawyers’ community would resist the act. Members of the forum said they would launch a movement against Imran Khan’s march and his unconstitutional demands.
