Bad Friend: Man accused of deleting sensitive data

He said he approached the FIA but they did not register a case.

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Wednesday sought comments from the FIA director general on a petition seeking a case against a man accused of removing important data from the petitioner’s laptop. Muzammil said he was an employee at Mezino Technologies and had sensitive data on his laptop. He said Waleed Farrukh, a friend, borrowed his laptop but when he returned it, sensitive data on it was missing. He said when he confronted Farrukh about it he said he hadn’t deleted the data. He said he approached the FIA but they did not register a case.
