The body of a newborn baby was recovered from a garbage heap in the Civil Lines area.
A passerby spotted the body in a trash of garbage and informed the police, which reached the spot and recovered the body.
The police registered a case and further investigation is under way.
Meanwhile, a six-year-old boy was kidnapped from the same area.
Beenish* lodged a case with the police that her son had allegedly been kidnapped. Further investigation is under way.
