Kidnapped: Man abducted, humiliated

BAHAWALPUR: Police said on Tuesday that six people had abducted a man and shaved his head, moustache and eyebrows. Muhammad Abbas, a resident of Shamsabad village, said five people had abducted him after they suspected him of trying to have relations with Rehana. He said he was family friends with her. Abbas said Khalid, Rehana’s paramour, had kidnapped him with his accomplices. He said they had taken him to a deserted place and had shaved his head, moustache and eyebrows. Abbas said he had escaped his captors after bystanders had rushed to his aid. A case has been registered against the culprits.
