They are accompanied by Exhibitions and Trade Delegations Sub-Committee Chairman of Fairs, Naveed Farooki, KCCI’s statement on Tuesday said. Muffasar Atta Malik is leading the delegation to Pakistan-UK Business Festival which is being jointly organised by the Economic and Trade Division UK North, High Commission of Pakistan and KCCI.
More than 20 businessmen and industrialists of Karachi are participating in this exhibition.
Commenting on this visit, KCCI President Abdullah Zaki said, “This exhibition, besides giving us an opportunity to promote various Pakistani products and services, has also given us a perfect chance to highlight Pakistan’s soft image and its culture.”
Zaki, while appreciating the constant support being extended by UK to Pakistan, said that it has helped in paving the way for increasing the trade volume between the two countries. He noted that bilateral trade linkages between Pakistan and the United Kingdom are deep rooted and have provided space to both of the countries to collaborate in different sectors of the economy.
However, Zaki stressed the need to share and develop common knowledge base, encourage exchange of trade and business related information and act lively to facilitate B2B linkages.
“By exploring competitive and comparative advantages, the two countries can certainly increase trade and pave way for new and better businesses,” he added.
