The growers of Jhalori held a protest demonstration against the sale of spurious seeds, pesticides and fertilisers in Mirpurkhas district. They complained that the agriculture department’s raiding team was taking bribes to allow shopkeepers to sell spurious seeds, pesticides and fertilisers. The growers demanded the Sindh government and the provincial minister for agriculture take measures to put a stop to the sale of locally prepared spurious seeds, pesticides and fertilizers.
