The central leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was speaking outside the Parliament House in Islamabad, where he also invited Imran to discuss his grievances with the government inside the parliament.
Implicitly criticising Imran and Tahirul Qadri for playing "dharna politics", Hamza questioned if problems that should be dealt with inside the parliament, could be fixed on streets.
"What is so terrible about the country that people feel they have to resort to dharnas to have their demands addressed," he asked.
Hamza, son of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, said that it had only been one year since the current PML-N government came into power. "Don’t ask for five years worth of development in just one year," he stated.
The PML-N leader said "the country is in a state of war and god forbid, there can be a reaction to this in the coming days," adding that the country needs to be prepared in case the fighting makes its way to the streets of Pakistan.
He stated that sensitive installations in the country such as the airport need to be protected and it is for this reason that Article 245 was imposed.
Hamza further said that once the country was peaceful again, the armed forces would leave the streets and go back in their barracks.

@LHR: No, there reasoning to be angry at Hamza Nawaz is hypocrisy. His Uncle the Prime Minister should makes more appearance in Parliament before criticizing other legislator. Nawab Sharif need to act better to care for IDP, better than staying in Saudi Arabia during Eid ul Fitr.
And his highness can go to KSA for 10 days, forgetting the plight of IDPs...what hypocrisy....!!

@LHR: No Sir, the argument is not that. In fact, there is no argument, the POINT is that if you are going to criticize someone, make sure your own party or PM is not guilty of the same thing. Because if he is, then it makes you sound like a hypocrite.
He forgets the days they were holding rallies & dharnas against price hike / loadshedding etc; during PPP govt . IK / PTI is exercising their democratic right to protest....ask him how many NA session PM NS attended ?

HS should first look among his immediate family and see how often they are gracing the parliament with their presence before coming on barging on someone like IK, who has almost been a regular compared to NS.
WHen PM attended Senate last time? How many time he came to Pakistan in last 5 years? Infact he made some1 else rep in house (Ch Nisar)?
No one needs development in a country where there's lack of trust in the government and no rule of law, get the basics addressed and then you can buy all your toys at your own expense.

This is not right of hamza, even if IK came to parliament nothing will be solved. Only Mian sahib and shahbaz can solve our problems. In fact, we should just disband parliament as they have not done their job in the last one year...not one law was passed. We should just make Nawaz Sharif King, and then we will progress like nothing we have seen before!
This is the typical mindset of PML-N. It's al right for them to neglect the NA for months on end, however, no sooner a member of the opposition is absent they kick up a huge fuss. How about telling the people of Pakistan how you managed to acquire multi million pound, prime real estate in London without paying any taxes in your own country?

Doob marnay ka muqam if someone like Hamza Shahbaz is "The central leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)". Why can't we just say he is the son of the Punjab CM because that is Hamza's only qualification?
Instead of criticizing IK.. he should ask his father when was the last time he honored The Parliament House with his presence.
Would he care reminding his uncle and father to ensure they attend parliament to engae into political dialogue and not on their farmhouse instead?
Somebody ask him, did Leader of the House, the Prime Minister attend the NA session? or he also thinks Imran Khan is the only leader in the NA and should be PM
Parliament has been made a dummy by his own party Chief and his Tayyar je Nawaz Sharif. He never attends parliamentary sessions. It is said that it has been 3 months since he has even called any cabinet meeting.
