Crackdown: Suspects nabbed

RAWALPINDI: The Sadiqabad police on Thursday apprehended 13 suspects, including 10 gamblers, and seized stake money, drugs and ammunition from their possession. In the first incident, a police party raided a gambling den in Shakrial and arrested Ilyas, Patras Masih, Shamraiz, Malik Bilal, Ghulam Mustafa, Fayyaz, Naeem, Rizwan, Qudoos and Fahad along with Rs33,370 cash, 12 mobile phones and relevant equipment. Meanwhile, the same police arrested Nauman Shah along with 530 grams of hashish, Raheel Khan for carrying 22 bullets and Taj Muhammad for being in possession of 15 bullets. Separate cases have been registered against them under the relevant laws.
