Animosity: Two men killed over personal enmity

Assailants immediately fled from the scene and the police shifted the injured to Civil hospital.

SUKKUR: Two people were killed and one other was injured by armed men over personal enmity in Regent Colony within the limits of C-Section police station on Wednesday night. Mohammad Naseem Shaikh, along with his friends, was sitting inside his shop when four armed men came and opened indiscriminate firing. He was killed on the spot while Faraz Ahmed Shaikh and Mohammad Ali Shaikh were injured. The assailants immediately fled from the scene. The police shifted the injured to Civil hospital, where Faraz succumbed to his injuries. Three suspects have been arrested. However, no case has been registered. According to sources, a man named Akhtar Abbasi was gunned down by armed men in Regent Colony around a month ago. His murder was said to be the reason behind Wednesday’s killings.
