Speeding: Two killed, eight injured as bus plunges into ravine

The coaster (JF-1999) with 26 people on board was going to Bagh, Azad Kashmir from Pirwadhai.

Two people were killed while eight others were injured as a passenger coaster fell into a ravine near Kulyari Morr in the Maloot Sattian area on Sunday, Rescue 1122 and police officials said.


The coaster (JF-1999) with 26 people on board was going to Bagh, Azad Kashmir from Pirwadhai. The police said the speeding coaster driver lost control of the steering while trying to avoid hitting a car coming from the other direction.

The injured were shifted to Rural Health Center Maloot Sattian and Bagh by local people, a rescuer said, while the deceased passenger was identified as Ishtiaq. The other person killed was the driver, who has not yet been identified.
