Back home: Kidnapped man recovered

He said the man was taken to a hospital where doctors said his condition was stable.

Police on Wednesday claimed to have recovered a men kidnapped one month ago.


City Police Officer (CPO) Dr Haidar Ashraf told newsmen that 25-year-old Irfan Ali son of Ramazan, a resident of Gulistan Colony, was abducted from near Sargodha Road police station about a month ago. He said the Sargodha Road Station House Officer Hafiz Irfan and his team had raided a house and found Ali. He said the man was taken to a hospital where doctors said his condition was stable. He said information gleaned from Ali had helped the police find his kidnappers. He said they would be arrested soon.

He said two police teams headed by Sargodha Road Assistant Superintendent Police (ASP) Najeebullah and SHO Hafiz Irfan had been constituted to arrest them.
