PUIC: Abbasi heads to Iran for conference

Primary purpose is to condemn the barbarism and flagrant violation of the international law by the Israeli forces.

ISLAMABAD: Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Deputy Speaker National Assembly has left for Iran to attend the meeting of the Parliamentary Union of OIC Members Countries (PUIC) being held in Tehran. During his stay in Tehran, he will participate in the meeting of the Parliamentary Union of OIC Members Countries (PUIC) on the ongoing offensive against Palestinians in Gaza. The primary purpose of the meeting is to condemn the barbarism and flagrant violation of the international law by the Israeli forces. Participants of the meeting will urge international community and the United Nations to take effective and appropriate political measures in order to stop the extensive killing of the innocent people of Gaza, destruction of their houses and their urban installations.
