Fire erupts in Karachi factory
Six fire brigades reached the site to extinguish the fire as workers escaped the building. The firemen managed to put out the blaze in an hour.
Production material worth millions was destroyed in the fire as the factory was reportedly not equipped to extinguish the blaze.
Textile mills and factories located in the area were also evacuated to avoid any untoward incident.
The cause of the fire in the garment factory remains undetermined.
