Firing drill: Blast at firing range claims two lives

The dead and the injured were shifted to the POF Hospital Wah for medico-legal formalities and treatment.

WAH: At least two persons died after a blast occurred in a cache of arms stocked at the POF Firing Range Burhan during a firing exercise. The firing drill was under way to test the newly manufactured arms and ammunitions, when suddenly the blast occurred. As a result of the blast, Asim Ali, an employee of the POF and Khalid, a civilian, died on the spot, while another man, who was identified as Asad Ullah sustained serious wounds. The dead and the injured were shifted to the POF Hospital Wah for medico-legal formalities and treatment.
