HYDERABAD:

The Pakistan Peoples Party Hyderabad district president Zahid Hussain Bhurgari has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan should not use agitation to pressurise the government into accepting his demands.

He was of the belief that such activities will only harm the present democratic system. Bhurgari said that the parliament was the proper forum to take up any issues of national importance and Imran should also present his demands there.

He lamented that the PTI chief was inviting anti-democratic elements to destroy democracy, which had been brought back on track after a lot of sacrifices by the people.

Tsunamis have always brought about destruction, wherever they have hit in the world, he said, advising Imran to refrain from such activities as only the continuation of democracy could bring growth and economic.

Bhurgari maintained that the people had given mandate to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to rule the country. “Let the PML-N complete their constitutional tenure and the people will decide its fate,” he said.
