A man wanted for killing two sub-inspectors was killed in a shootout with the police on Saturday.

A Taunsa Saddar police spokesman said Ghulam Rasool was wanted in several cases on charges of murder, illegal possession of weapons and robbery. He said Rasool had shot and killed Inspector Mujtaba in a shoot out on July 14.

He said on Saturday, a police patrol team was dispatched to investigate a robbery report.
