In broad daylight: JUI provincial leader abducted

Tareen was abducted while he was travelling towards Harnai city.

QUETTA: Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Islam’s provincial leader Haji Malik Muhammad Raza Tareen was abducted on Wednesday from the Spin Dangi area of District Harnai. According to Levies Forces, Tareen was abducted by unidentified men while he was travelling towards Harnai city. “Four to five of his family members were along with him during the incident. However, the kidnappers spared others and only kidnapped the leader,” Levies official said. Investigation into the matter has been initiated.
