Two new cases: Dengue count rises to 21

Both patients were brought in from Sakha Cheena, Amankot

MINGORA: The dengue count rose to 21 after two fresh cases were identified in Swat on Wednesday. According to Roshan Ali, the focal person for dengue at Saidu Teaching Hospital, Sher Khan, 50, and Faizur Rahman, 17, were diagnosed with the virus and admitted on Wednesday. “The total count has now reached 21 in the hospital,” said Ali while speaking to The Express Tribune. “Presently, there are four patients being treated in the dengue cell, while 17 have been discharged after recovery.” Both patients were brought in from Sakha Cheena, Amankot, which has been the most affected area in Swat so far.
