A robber was killed and another arrested on Wednesday in separate incidents, police said.
Taunsa Cantt police received information that some robbers were crossing the river in Usman Shah village. The robbers opened fire when police raided the area.
Police returned fire, killing Abdul Latif Gul who was wanted for the murder of 10 policemen.
Gul carried a Rs1 million bounty.
Separately, a team of Shah Sadardin police was on patrol in Marhatta village when two armed men, riding a motorcycle, opened fire at it.
The men, identified as Ghulam Abbas Lashari and Irfan Pitafi, fell of the motorcycle when police returned fire.
They took cover behind the bushes and kept on shooting. Police later surrounded the area and arrested Lashari while Pitafi fled.
Police seized the motorcycle and recovered a Kalashnikov rifle from Lashari.
