Down under: Boy drowns in Mehro Wah canal

SUKKUR: A seven-year-old boy drowned in Mehro Wah canal near the Kamal Mashori village, within the Jarwar police limits in the Ghotki district on Sunday. Shoaib, son of Fazal Din Mashori, drowned when he was playing by the embankment of the canal and slipped into it. The villagers pulled the body after two hours of hectic efforts.
