Power theft: Electricity thief fined Rs50,000

Special judicial magistrate fines a person accused of stealing electric power.

FAISALABAD: A special judicial magistrate on Thursday fined a person accused of stealing electric power. A Faisalabad Electric Supply Company spokesperson said that Sub-divisional Officer Muhammad Naeem had caught Tahir Shah stealing electricity. A case was lodged against the accused and a challan was submitted before Magistrate Syed Masood Hussain Zaidi. The magistrate fined Shah Rs50,000.
