Important meetings: PM to arrive in Karachi today
Nawaz will chair two important meetings regarding law and order situation and development schemes for Karachi.
KARACHI:
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to arrive in Karachi today (Thursday). He will chair two important meetings regarding law and order situation and development schemes for Karachi. Chief Minister, governor Sindh, DG Rangers, acting IG police, home secretary and officials of intelligence agencies will attend the meeting. Official sources said the prime minister will also hold a separate meeting with Chief Minister Syed Qaim ALi Shah to discuss the appointment of IG in Sindh. According to PML N sources, Nawaz will also hold a meeting with senior party leaders and visits to the family of Baloch nationalist Nawab Khair Bux Marri to offer condolences upon his death.
