Version: OGRA denies allegations

Petition challenges appointment of member gas of Ogra, says hiring made in violation of judgment of Supreme Court.

KARACHI: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) described the allegations contained in a petition reported in a story titled “Ogra’s member gas in the dock” in The Express Tribune as false and concocted. In the petition, the appointment of member gas of Ogra has been challenged in the Islamabad High Court with an allegation that the hiring had been made in violation of rules and judgment of Supreme Court. Ogra spokesman says the case is in the court and is sub judice.
